National Geographic filmmaker Bertie Gregory travels to the gateways to the poles to film wildlife in two of the harshest environments on the planet: South Georgia Island above Antarctica, and Canada’s frigid North below the Arctic Circle. Surviving in these vastly different environments require cunning, persistence and the ability to adapt to a changing climate. This is the story of Bertie’s quest to capture these wild environments firsthand.

Bertie Gregory is in the Azores, a marine sanctuary and vital pitstop for migrating ocean predators off the coast of Portugal. It’s feeding season, as thousands of normally elusive predators join forces to hunt and feed on super-shoals of fish known as bait balls. A vast ocean and battling storms challenge the team for a chance to film the most spectacular feeding frenzy of Bertie’s career.
